New Appointment – Glenn Trafford

Glenn Trafford has been appointed Account Executive at Gloucester-based Cass-Stephens Insurances and will manage its new Risk Management Services.

Glenn, 35, has over 15 years experience in the insurance industry and has a particular expertise in the social care sector and risk management specialisms which he will bring to Cass-Stephens.

He was previously Director of Risk Management and Compliance with a national insurance brokers group and is experienced in SME and corporate client management.

Glenn, who is married with five children and lives in Gloucester, said he was especially looking forward to his role as manager of Cass-Stephens new Risk Management Services.

The service is designed to partner Cass-Stephens general insurance services and will help reduce losses or serious occurrences, reduce sick pay, improve productivity and ensure less capital investment through planned maintenance programmes.

As well as the common sense financial arguments, employers are legally obliged to ensure the safety and welfare of their employees and Cass-Stephens’ new services can be tailored to fit particular needs.

Glenn, who is a National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) qualified consultant, said: “I am very impressed with the way the team at Cass-Stephens look after their clients and the personal service they provide.

“I am really looking forward to meeting clients and helping them with their insurance requirements.”

Glenn is also keen to join with the regular fundraising activities at the company, having previously helped raised thousands of pounds for the Grand Appeal at the Bristol Children’s Hospital where his son Cosmo was successfully treated after suffering a cardiac arrest when he was just five weeks old.
