Through The Looking Glass at Gloucester Docks

We are lucky enough to be situated around the corner from Gloucester Docks, a lovely place for a lunch-time stroll. Today (18th August 2014) the Docks were full of some very important visitors for the filming of the new Johnny Depp film Alice in Wonderland – Through The Looking Glass. Mr Depp is not thought to have been in the City but his co-star Mia Wasikowska is. The number of people and equipment involved is quite amazing, as are the wonderful Tall Ships.

Of course there are lots of insurance implications that we could consider; the cost of replacing the equipment, the liability associated with having that many people in the area including film-stars, the cost of having to cancel the days filming due to adverse weather, etc. But instead of writing about that I am just going to share a couple of the photos that I took at lunch-time and say my congratulations to everyone involved in bringing such an exciting event to the City.
