Cass-Stephens 50th Anniversary and Fire Walk – Young Gloucestershire and Gloucester Young Carers
As part of Cass-Stephens Insurances 50th Anniversary we decided to not only celebrate but also to do some fund raising; We did a Fire Walk and roped some of our customers in as well!!
The money raised from the sponsorship and a charity auction was split equally between our two nominated charities for this year
It was decided in line with the majority of our staffs wishes that we would continue to support local charities and young children again this year.
We decided to try something new and split the sponsorship this year between two very worthy charities:

Gloucestershire Young Carers provides a range of services for young carers who look after an ill or disabled family member.
Gloucestershire Young Carers is a dynamic charity constantly growing and developing to meet the ever-changing needs of young carers in the county. Their vision is to help young carers enjoy their childhood and achieve their aspirations through providing support to the carers themselves, activities and respite. They also work with education, health and social care organisations to enable them to identify and effectively support young carers.

Young Gloucestershire supports young people (11-25 years old) who are facing some very difficult times; whether it be a disruptive home life, caring for a family member or coping with a mental health issue. Young people turn to the organisation for help and they are offered practical ways to find confidence and develop the skills they need to get on track and to move into a job, education or training.
