Gloucester Zip Wire – Gloucester Child Contact Centre

As part of the fund raising for the Gloucester Child Contact Centre, Hilary Cass (who was 74 at the time!) decided to do a Zip Wire across the cross of Gloucester City Centre.

Hilary was the Wife of Mike Cass, who started Cass-Stephens, Mother to both Matt and James Cass, and also Chair of The Gloucester Child Contact Centre so she wanted to be involved in the fundraising in some way.

Maybe doing a Zip Wire that was 100 foot up and zipping along at 30 miles an hour wasn’t exactly what she had in mind but she raised an awful lot for charity and although she won’t say it, I’m sure she had fun doing it!
