Glevum Way In A Day Challenge – The Gloucester Child Contact Centre
This year our chosen charity is The Gloucester Child Contact Centre and we decided to break with tradition and rather than have one big Fund Raiser, we would do lots of smaller ones throughout the year.
Our third fund raiser was to do Gloucester’s very own little walk, The Glevum Way.
The Glevum Way is a 26 mile circular walk around the city of Gloucester.
We had planned the walk to take 8 hours, but it took closer to 10 with stoppages. It was hard work but good fun.
At the time of writing this some 5 months later, the director that took part, Matt, still has black toe nails!

The Gloucester Child Contact Centre provides a safe and neutral place where children can enjoy the company of adults from whom they are separated. There is a warm and friendly atmosphere, with plenty of toys and refreshments.
