Abseil – The Stroke Association – £400

As a first venture into raising money, we decided to take part in a charity abseil down St Barnabas Church in Gloucester.

This was a unique event and was a brilliant way to raise money for a worthy cause.  After putting our lives on the line, we raised over £400 for The Stroke Association.

The Stroke Association are the UK’s leading stroke charity. They deliver stroke services across the UK, campaign for better stroke care, invest in research and fundraise to expand their reach to as many stroke survivors as possible. Their mission is to change how people think about stroke and challenge the myths surrounding it.
